29 FACES DAY 6

For the  29 FACES challenge, which is to create 29 faces in the 28 days of September, I set myself a personal theme for the month.  In creating my faces I shall be focussing on 'variety', trying something different all the time, experimenting and trying to be happy with an experiment even if it doesn't turn out too well.

Today's face is inspired by a photograph of a Ukranian woman that appealed to me in an old National Geographic magazine.  I'm not very good at working in a loose style, but I loved the jolly face of this lady and wanted to make today's personal challenge a loose drawing and painting.  Quite happy with the result, and I named her Olga - I don't really know any Ukranian names.
