29 FACES DAY 11

Sam Sea Dog
Sam threw himself onto the paper with gusto in a very short time.  He was drawn with black Indian ink.  I went out into the garden and broke off a rather dead twig about 12 inches long to use as my drawing implement.

This is the twig, which I held at arms length to draw the old fellow, using the end at the right which you can see has a black tip from the ink.  I twisted it round to get a finer or thicker line, and by chance one of the angles produced the double line which you can see was quite good for the beard.

 Great fun.
